First actions

Stay calm. Act clearly

Make the scene safe

Stop other riders and check for traffic, falling rocks or another immediate danger.

02

Call 112

Say that it is a mountain-bike accident near Voghjaberd. Give coordinates, the trail name and number of injured people.

03

Check breathing and bleeding

Follow the dispatcher’s instructions. Use only first aid you know how to perform.

04

Avoid unnecessary movement

If a head, neck or back injury is possible, leave the rider in the position found unless there is immediate danger, CPR is needed or severe bleeding must be controlled.

05

Keep them warm and observed

Stay with the rider, note any changes and keep the phone available for the dispatcher.
